Ramakrishna Race Performance Management Pvt. Ltd. organises the Rally de Sea View, a super exciting event for the motor-sports lovers. The ceremonial flag off will be held at the South City Mall, Kolkata in the presence of Hon'ble Sports Ministerof West Bengal, Sri Madan Mitra, Leading Bengali Actress Nusrat Jahan of SHATRU fame and Tollywood's renowned Costume Designer, Pooja Chatterjee.
Ceremonial Start- 7th July, 4:00PM [South City Mall, Kolkata]
Start of Rally- 9th July, 7:00AM [Hotel Nest, Shankarpur]
Finish of Rally- 9th July, 3:00PM [Contai]
Podium Ceremony- 10th July, 4:00PM [South City Mall, Kolkata]
There are about 30 teams participating in this rally with their modified cars like Maruti Esteem, Mitsubishi Cedia, Mahindra Bolero an Maruti Gypsy.All these cars are specially prepared for dirt roads. Eminent motorists from Eastern India like Soham Hazra, Somdeb Chanda, Prasanta Paul, Pritul Dey and others are some of the participants of the Rally de Sea View.
After the rally finishes, the participants will return to kolkata on 9th July 2011 and the Podium Ceremony will be held at South City Mall on 10th July 2011.The Prizes at stake for the 1st position is Rs.1,00,000/- , 2nd Rs.60,000/- , 3rd Rs.40,000/- , 4th Rs.20,000/- , 5th Rs.10,000/- and Best Novice Team Rs.10,000/-. Along with the prize money each of the above position teams will receive two trophies each. The Rally is being sponsored by Electrostell Castings Ltd., Beverage Partner- Pepsi, Hospitality Partner- Princeton Club and Venue Partner- South City Mall.
